There are lots of activities to do in Old San Juan, especially because old San Juan has a very active nightlife teaming with local and tourists all the time. Old San Juan is home to offices, shops, restaurants and art galleries. It is also the place that a lot of San Juaneros call home. There are a lot of places and things to do in San Juan but if your time is very limited, get a mini-tour and get a glimpse to a history that goes back 500 hundred years. With the mini tours you can get to places like Plaza San José and visit Galeria Nacional, Pablo Casal's Museum, Museum of Las Americas and the dramatic Fortress featured in this set of pictures- El Morro is a beautiful military marvel with 6 levels of terraces, ramps, rooms and gun powder storage rooms adorned with well preserved artifacts dating almost to the Christopher Columbus era.
